SoftPI has released a new version of SoftPI Flow Collector 1.9.3. In this version the following new features have been added:
- templates from flow sources are stored and they are accessible to choice as a set of fields of database;
- new fields have been added in a list of database fields. They are vendor-specific fields and are not part of NetFlow or IPFIX sets;
- user can add fields for processing, if his equipment has vendor-specific fields.
All users of the previous version, which have warranty support, can free upgrade to version 1.9.3. Those users who have expired warranty support can get an extended support.
SoftPI Flow Collector system provides for the collection of information on network flows using NetFlow versions 5 or 9 (Cisco Systems), RFlow and IPFIX (RFC 5101, 5102), as well as flexible aggregation of collected data and saves theirs in a storage of one of types: Microsoft SQL database, MySQL database, text file.
